ZMS 638?is a medium maturing double cross hybrid. The plants are of medium height (250cm), the cob placed at about 130cm and the stems are medium thick.?The leaves are of medium sized blades with a medium green color. The plants flower 62days after sowing and silk 2-3 days later. The cobs are long (22cm), thick with 16 rows and well covered with medium sized and semi flint grains.

The yield potential is high (12ton/ha). The hybrid takes 130days to mature and has good resistance and tolerance to lodging and drought respectively. The resistance to GLS, MSV, rust, leaf blights and cob rots is very good. The hybrid i will perform well on both dry and irrigated lands.
